While working at a women’s clothing retailer during college, I have managed to collect an arsenal of anecdotes, from the hilarious to the bizarre to the downright unheard of when it comes to sneaky shoppers, store sets and the like. Ever heard a middle-aged woman publicly announce her lack of underwear as an excuse not to try on a pair of jeans? Ever been burned in the face by a steamer? No? Well, if you’re looking for a laugh, this is where I’ll share my stories as a method of giving you a chuckle and keeping myself sane.
